Postal costs..

How bizarre. What? Well, as a frequent Ebayer I'm always looking for nice new or second-hand photo-equipment for also nice prices. Preferably naturally from locations within the Netherlands and/or Europe while postal-prices are "Naturally" much cheaper than from elsewhere in the world. Well, I just found out that shipping a small package IN the Netherlands is MORE expensive than mailing it to anywhere in Europe.. in fact even the entire world!! How fucked up can that be?!

E.g. In Holland small packages up to weighing 500g cost €5,50 While 0-250g in Europe would cost you €3,25 (priority) and 250-500g cost €5,40 (priority)! And a package to the world of less than 250g cost you €5,40..

I guess I have to emigrate for receiving nicely priced items which are shipped from the Netherlands..
