It rained..
It rained..
As I posted a picture, weeks ago, of my rowing club which flooded during a short episode of very much rain I allready wondered if we would have had any problems.. Today I found out.. Yes, in the darkroom (which is currently really a dark room while the tubelights are out of order). Allthough not that much (and apart from the watermarked books and papers there was no fluid left) it's a pity that all my stored photographic paper took a lot of it in the boxes. Perhaps the fil itself hasn't been damaged.. but to the looks of the boxes I suspect that it will be the end of Black and white printing for some (more) time..

Too bad. I think you can throw that paper away, unless you want some experimental prints. It reminds me however that I should make some real prints myself this summer. Have a lot of b&w stuff waiting and it's so nice in the dark :-)
@ Bas: Do you think so? The paper itself is naturally still in it's plastic black bag.. so I guess it didn't get wet. Nevertheless the paper is currently at least 3 years of age.. looking at the manner the boxes were dried it looks like they also have taken a lot of heat.. for the past few years..
So I guess, as you noted, it's probably nice paper for experimental work but for a nice good print it won't do anymore. Too bad.
