Since ages it has become a custom that University-graduates write their name in the sweat-chamber of the University of Leiden after their graduation.
In the early days of the university graduates had to wait in this chamber before their final (graduation) exam and while they were nervous some wrote their names and/or pictures on the wall. Nowadays graduation isn't like that anymore and autographing the sweatchamber has become a university-ritual..
